In 1984 a small group of families started The King’s School as a ministry of Gateway Church to express their vision to educate their children in a Christian environment with Biblical values. With this vision still strong, The King’s School now enjoys relationships with numerous churches and organizations. Although governed by a separate Board, The King’s School remains a ministry of Gateway Church, www.gatewaywinnipeg.com.

The King’s School teaches Manitoba curriculum and only hires Manitoba certified teachers.

The King’s School seeks to forge meaningful friendships with academic and government educators, recognizing that we all desire to help children from all walks of life. We have much to learn from each other, and value the mutual sharing of knowledge for the greater good.
